I am proud to announce the independently produced feature length comedy, FLOGGING MARGARET, a modern, raunchy, comic film full of sex, love, great jokes, incredible production value, animation, and an amazing full length soundtrack. The film has been completely mastered; color corrected and a 5.1 audio mix and is fully deliverable. It is the winner of the IRIS FILM FESTVAL for Best Feature Film 2006 and was an Official Selection at the Seattle True Independent Film Festival 2006 and The Backseat Film Festival 2007.

Flogging Margaret is director, Oliver Assiran’s second feature film. His first feature film GORNO: An American Tragedy, is currently being distributed by Brain Damage Films, and has been sold foreign and domestic and is currently on store shelves.

FLOGGING MARGARET is designed from start to finish to appeal to the 18 to 30 year old youth market and is a sure fired cult classic and tailor made for the domestic and international video market. CORY EDWARDS, writer and director of Miramax’s Hoodwinked and star of the highly acclaimed indie cult classic, Chillicothe, says Flogging Margaret is; "Funny and surprising…does a good job of creating a feeling of perilous instability. The film contains all the elements of a classic comedy; beautiful woman, funny and sometimes raunchy jokes, nudity, hot lesbians, hilarious situations, and a phenomenal soundtrack that will appeal to a mass audience. Many of the bands have national and international followings and are signed with major record labels, such as Circa Survive, "Meet Me in Montauk" (Equal Vision Records), Sam Bisbee, "Miracle Car", (Terrible Records), Rappy McRapperson’s huge college and radio hit "I’m a Gangster", and Jennifer Gentle’s, "I Do Dream You", (Sub Pop Records).
